Welcome Party

The UQ Tennis Club’s First Semester Welcome Party & Program Trials was held on Friday evening, 4 April, after having to be postponed because of Cyclone Alfred and delays to the light installation work. 

But it was worth the wait to have the courts lit up and over 100 players turning up to have a hit, get a taste of Tennis Practice, listen to some great music, play some games in the clubhouse and collect lots of prizes in the lucky draw

Entry was free for UQ students who purchased a Tennis Card at Market Day.  The entry fee was $5 for all others.  All entrants received a free ticket for the Lucky Prize Draws that were conducted throughout the night (UQ students with a Tennis Card received 2 tickets for the Lucky Prize Draws).
