Membership and Fixtures Application Form
Fixtures
FOR SECOND SEMESTER TEAM FIXTURES, there are two competions - Monday Night (7-9 p.m.) and Tuesday Night (7-9 p.m.). The seasons will run for 11 weeks (including finals & play-offs).
Team Fixtures are weekly team-based competitons.
To play Team Fixtures in Second Semester 2026:
Players must be at least 15 years of age during 2026 (i.e. born 2011 or earlier).
Players must be a Club Member (either Full-Year or Second-Half-Year).
Players must commit to the full season (17/18 August to 26/27 October).
Players must have a Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile (CPP) linked to Universal Tennis ratings (UTR) and a Tennis ID (11-digit number starting with ‘66’). To find your Tennis ID or create a CPP & Tennis ID & UTR link go to:
https://www.tennis.com.au/compete/join-competitions/set-up-competitive-player-profile#get-started
Anybody who has a problem setting up their CPP linked to UTR should contact Tennis Australia via play@tennis.com.au or Ph 1800 752 983. A common error is creating a CPP but not linking it to UTR.
In 2026, Team Fixtures will be run by the UQ Tennis Club on Monday and Tuesday nights. All competitions are any-gender.
Membership
In order to play Fixtures, you must become a member the UQ tennis Club. The entry form also doubles as a Membership application form.
Entries must be lodged ON-LINE. Enter on-line here.
How to join
Enter on-line and fill in the Membership and Fixtures Application (see side bar).
Please note that the fees for each fixture are for the entire season. There are no weekly fees. Entries must be lodged by the closing date as there is usually a very tight timeline for us to organise times and make the draw before the season starts.
If you have not played for the UQ Tennis Club before and do not have a verified UTR, you will have to come to a grading session (see below). This ensures that teams are made up with players of same standard and makes play more enjoyable for all. We Tennis Club keep statistics on how you perform during the season and use this and your UTR to update your grading.
Please fill out the form as completely as possible. A working e-mail address really helps as we send out 'e-updates' during the season to remind you of events. Mobile phone and work phone numbers help your team captain organise the team each week. Avoid using qq.com e-mail addresses as Tencent regularly rejects bulk e-mails from outside China.
Grading Sessions
For Second Semester Team Fixtures, grading sessions will be held at the following times:
Monday 27 July from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tuesday 28 July from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday 3 August from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tuesday 4 August from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There is no pre-booking for grading. Just turn up and check in at the clubhouse or follow the direction signs to the grading courts.
N.B. When players submit their application, they see a receipt of entry confirmation page with instructions about how to make payment. They also see a list of dates for grading sessions. The dates listed on that page are totally wrong - wrong days and wrong dates. This may take some time to get corrected. The dates above are correct.
