National Volunteer Week & Ace of the Month

The aim of National Volunteer Week (19-25 May) is to recognize and highlight the role of volunteers in our community. 

Behind every activity the UQ Tennis Club runs, there are some volunteers making it happen.  They are the first to arrive and the last to leave.  If community sport has a heartbeat, it’s these volunteers. Their presence turns clubs into communities, and their energy creates the kind of sport experience people remember for life. 

In the spirit of National Volunteer Week, the UQ Tennis Club is launching a brand-new initiative: Ace of the Month. Each month, the Club will spotlight a standout volunteer who's gone above and beyond for the UQ Tennis Club - whether it's helping run events, supporting teammates, or just bringing great energy to the court.
