June Singles Fixtures Results

The UQ Tennis Club's June Season of Singles Fixtures was completed on Monday night, 23 June.

30 players competed in the competition which was played over two Monday nights (16 & 23 June). Players were divided into round-robin groups of six by standard (based on UTRs). The round-robin was followed by play-offs for each group between the players who finished 1st & 2nd on points, 3rd & 4th and 5th & 6th. Everybody got three one-set matches each night.

The results for the 1st v 2nd play-offs were:

Group 1 (UTR 6.95 - 5.81): W Thanh Dao, R/U Jonathan Twine

Group 2 (UTR 5.49 - 4.97): W Michael Hou, R/U Kaz Ueda

Group 3 (UTR 4.95 - 4.39): W Andrew Smith, R/U Monique Cumner

Group 4 (UTR 4.31 - 2.78): W James Nguyen, R/U William Chen

Group 5 (UTR 2.07 - 1.02): W Zijun Li, R/U Manoj Sam

Winners received a $50 gift voucher and runners-up received a $25 gift voucher, plus some HEAD products.
