2026 Winter Men's Singles & Ladies' Singles Night Tournament

Levels: Events at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards.

  • Open: Top level (top level)
  • A Grade: Equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 7.50 & Women UTR 6.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures A2, UQ Social high Red)
  • B Grade: Equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 6.50 & Women UTR 5.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures B1, UQ Social Yellow)
  • C Grade: Equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 4.50 & Women UTR 3.50 (approx. UQTC Fixtures C1, UQ Social Green

Dates: Events will be played to completion in one night.

  • 22 August  -  Open & B Grade
  • 29 August  -  A Grade & C Grade

Note:  If play on the designated night is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the affected events will be played or completed on 5 September.  Entrants should ensure they can be available for all relevant nights if necessary.

Eligibility: Entry is restricted to members of The University of Queensland Tennis Club.  However, non-members will be granted Restricted Membership of the Club (which includes free registration with Tennis Queensland) so that everybody can enter.  N.B. A higher entry fee applies for Restricted Members.

Format: Round-Robin, which guarantees all entrants get multiple matches.

Note: Because of the limitation on the number of players that can be accommodated at the UQ Sport Tennis Centre in a one-night tournament, entries may be closed early in some or all events to ensure the tournament can be played to completion in the time available.

Note: When players go to enter on-line, they are asked to log-in using their Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile log-in.  Players can check if they have a Tennis ID & Competitive Player Profile or they can create a Competitive Player Profile & Tennis ID & UTR link by going to:
