2026 Ekka Singles Challenge Tournament

The Ekka Singles Challenge Tournament is a daytime event which will be played on the Exhibition Holiday, Wednesday, 12 August, from 8 a.m. to approx. 1 p.m.

Note:  If play on 12 August is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the tournament will be played or continued on the following Sunday morning, 16 August.  Entrants should ensure they are available for both mornings if necessary. 

Eligibility: Players are eligible to enter if they have a Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile (linked to Universal Tennis Ratings) and, if a junior, are 13 years of age or older in 2026 (i.e. born 2013 or earlier). 

Format: Participation-style tournament (formats used that keep everybody playing irrespective of whether they win or lose).

When players go to enter on-line, they are asked to log in using their Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile log-in.  Players can check if they have a Tennis ID & Competitive Player Profile or they can create a Competitive Player Profile & Tennis ID & UTR link by going to:
