2025 Ekka Singles Challenge Tournament

N.B. ENTRIES CLOSED EARLY on 29 July as 32 players max. entry received.

The Ekka Singles Challenge Tournament is a daytime event which will be played on the Exhibition Holiday, Wednesday, 13 August, from 8 a.m. to approx. 1 p.m.

Note:  If play on 13 August is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the tournament will be played or continued on the following Sunday morning, 17 August.  Entrants should ensure they are available for both mornings if necessary. 

Eligibility: Entry restricted to members of the UQ Tennis Club.  However, non-members will be granted free Restricted Membership of the Club (which includes free registration with Tennis Queensland) so that everybody can enter.  A higher entry fee applies for Restricted Members. 

Format: Participation-style tournament (formats used that keep everybody playing irrespective of whether they win or lose).
