2024 End-of-Winter Singles Night Tournament

The UQ Tennis Club's 2024 Tournament Program continues with the End-of-Winter Singles Night Tournament.

There will be change of format this year.  Half the events will be played on Saturday night 10 August and the other half will be played on Saturday night 17 August.

• 10 August  -  Open & B Grade
• 17 August  -  A Grade & C Grade

Note:  If play on the designated night is prevented or interrupted because of the weather, the 10 August events will be played or completed on 17 or 24 August and the 17 August events will be played or completed on 24 August.  Entrants should ensure they can be available for all relevant nights if necessary.

Entries close on Thursday, 8 August.

N.B. Because only a limited number of courts are open for night play, entries will be closed early if entries reach the maximum number of players that can be accommodated on the courts available.

This is a participation-style tournament which uses Round-Robin formats to keep everybody playing.  Events are offered at 4 levels to cater for players of all standards.

All entrants in this tournament must be members of The University of Queensland Tennis Club (UQ Tennis Club).  However, non-members will be granted Restricted Membership of the UQ Tennis Club (includes free registration with Tennis Queensland) so they can compete.  The entry fees for Restricted Members will be higher than for Full Members (Ordinary, Associate, Junior or Hon. Life Members).

Entry Fees:
Full Members  -  $35
Restricted Members  -  $40

Evenst are offered at four levels:
OPEN  -  10 August  -  top level 
A GRADE  -  17 August  -  equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 7.50 & Women UTR 6.50 (UQTC Fixtures A2 Grade; UQTC Social low Red)
B GRADE  -  10 August  -  equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 6.50 & Women UTR 5.50 (UQTC Fixtures B1 Grade; UQTC Social Yellow)
C GRADE  -  17 August  -  equiv. to or lower than Men UTR 4.50 & Women UTR 3.50 (UQTC Fixtures C1 Grade; UQTC Social Green)
