Due to the massive flood damage at the UQ Tennis Centre, all of the UQ Tennis Club's Social Tennis programs, Tournament programs, Fixtures and Practice Sessions are currently suspended.
The removal of 11 light poles at the UQ Tennis Centre, for safety reasons, has disrupted all of the UQ Tennis Club's night tennis programs.&nbs
Tennis at UQ has been thrown into chaos as, yesterday afternoon, the University closed most of the courts at UQ over safety issues regarding the light poles.

After the Christmas break:
Sunday Social Tennis will resume on 3 January
Tuesday Night practice Sessions will resume on 5 January
Thursday Night Social Tennis will resume on 7 January
The Practice Sessions for 2009 will finish on 8 December and will resume in 2010 on 5 January.That is, there will be no Practice Sessions on 15, 22 & 29 December.
Tonight's Practice Session has been cancelled due to the rain. The UQ Tennis Centre is closed.
